i guess the x38 is a replacement to the 975x, and is similar in relationship to the 975x and p965 with the p35? i haven't really looked into this new chipset much.
im looking to upgrade to a q6600 or e6750 and a ds3r, but i had my eye on the new chipset that has pci-e 2.0. does anyone know if there would even be a difference in performance right now? also is anyone else a little mad that it is supposedly only going to be ddr3 compatible? im not spending $400+ on new memory.
