Fistly hello to everyone!

I am going to build a computer for basic needs(movies, office etc)[low-budget].
These are my choices:

CPU: Athlon X2 4200 (sAM2)
Mobo: MSI K9N NEO-F
VGA: ASUS EN7100GS512/TD 128MB PCI-E RETAIL
RAM: {{you choose}}
1.5GB of (OCZ 3X512 with timings 5-5-5-15)
or
2GB og (OCZ 4X512 with 4-4-4-12)
{exactly the same money}

It's my first time that builds a pc on my own so advice me if you can!!
I chose these so that they are vista compatible, but of course I am not sure if they are indeed... So let me know of any problem or tell me anything else that I have take care of!!!

Thanks

[Hey lieobry,
Welcome to T.F.!![/b]

You can save money by going with the X2 3600+.....and get the Biostar TForce TF7025 motherboard, and just drop the video card, because the motherboard I suggested, has an onboard graphics, that will do just fine.

For the RAM, it would be better to go with 2GB, but 2 x 1GB sticks. This is to run in dual channel. Well the 4 x 512 will run in dual channel, but you won't have empty slots, for additional memory. So 2 x 1GB is optimal now.

By the way, where are you buying from? In the US?
