570sli vs 590sli northbridge

Ok, one can say, the 590sli is better than the 570sli north bridge simply because the numbers are higher, BUT is there any real huge difference in performance between them? Is it worth spending $70 extra for a board with a 590sli north bridge? Or are there more factors in the motherboards performance that I'm overlooking.

no not worth the extra cash , why not go with a 650i/680i . I think they are working on a new board as well .

Nforce 590's have more PCI-E lanes, and more overclocking options.

I have the C51XEM2AA, and I don't regret buying it.

I'd have to buy a new power supply though for the 8 pin CPU power connector or do the regular 4 pin ones work in it. In the end would that make it worth it besides buying Newegg.com - ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
i'd be paying about $150 extra for the other motherboard a new powersupply

If it were me id wait and $ave until i could afford the upgrade maybe even to a newer better sli board . Your rig seems decent enough . I like to double my performance when i upgrade . Patience is a virtue that saves cash .

the evga 590 is better than that board, and is a cheaper alternative to Foxconn C51XEM2AA, might wanna look into it
