I use the fan controller - pretty convenient actually. That white strip around the fan is ugly though and the LCD is really really bright.

focusflow fan the one that sounds like a small plane taking off next to your legs use it with a fan controller and they make nice little fans they push so much cfm its unreal for when you really want to cool everything down

they both have blue LED's, and are only 19.3 dBA

I have personally used the Cooler Master and Thermaltake blue LED fans, and the cooler master is almost silent comparatively. That's with the Thermaltake turned all the way down.

*edit* 29 dBA is not what I'd call quiet (Vantec fan)

When choosing a fan though dont you also want good cfm flow?

the HR-03 Plus works well without having a very high CFM fan.

I don't think I'll gain much more efficiency (amount of heat transferred to the air, in Watts) out of it unless I get a fan that has a much higher CFM rating, but then there's the noise....

Basically, higher CFM fans generally make it more cooler, however, the higher the CFM gets, the lower the gradient of efficiency increase becomes.
