k8 isnt that far behind core 2. really. its not.

he's right, AMD have been successful especially with their cheaper processors,

but i think AMD will be back on top when Phenom comes out, cuz they will be great quad-cores but cheap at the same time, however Intel will also have quad-cores Wolfdales then, but they will be Extreme Editions, and face it the price of those processors alone is usually around the whole PC budget for most ppl

Wolfdales are the dual cores. You meant the Yorkfields.

Anyway, I'm rootin' for AMD next year, as it will be my next build.
