What is your max budget?

Are you only looking to play games like Far Cry at high settings or for future games?

Do you use the computer for anything else i.e. rendering, video playback, etc

Any plans to upgrade in the future and to what extent?

well at the moment my laptop is crap and im just looking for something to get me through for the year im totally content with older games like farcry, but i will be upgrading in the next year hopefully a more powerfull gcard. i use my pc for mainly games and music and movies. i also play music and would like to record through my pc. but at this time its usually for games.

overclocking can give you a noticeable bump in performance for little or no extra cash. But it can have its risks and when things go bad they go real bad. its a personal call but if done right overclocking can save you a lot of cash.

With all the help you have and research that you can do, overclocking is very easy if done right.

ok so say i choose to overclock...will the parts be good enough? and if i choose not to are they good enough for now?
