ASUS M2N SLI deluxe mobo question

I'm looking at getting this mobo but I won't be running SLI just yet, wouldn't it be fine to just have 1 gfx card in it and disable the other pci xpress slot

Yea, it should be fine.

you dont need to disable the other slot it would only be "enabled" when you plug another GFX card into it

Well is the mobo i had currently selected pretty good? i mean i won't be using SLI for quite a while. So which one out of those 3 would be the best with my hardware at the moment? (hardware listed in sig)

mine because panzer's is good but pricey, mine has the exact same chipset, with all the features it has except for the wifi... urs is 10$ pricier but has an older chipset, (50 if u get the rebate)

the only bad thing i see with that one is i still have a Dynex 500w 4 pin power connector psu

well the power connector into the motherboard is a 8 pin connection, i have a 500w dynex that has the older 4 pin power connection. Are there any mobos that somebody can help me find that are good for gaming and would support my hardware. Needs to be a AM2 socket board and what is the best mobo company? ASUS.. MSI.. eVga?
