If you want a cheap Intel go for the celeron Processors. and they are multi task too. I really don't reconmend for you to get an AMD they suck! An intel celeron D would work fine

don't say AMD's suck (this isn't fanboyism) i guess u have had a bad experience with them or something??

anyways.... a celeron might be worth looking into, since the new Celerons (Celly D was last gen) have the Core 2 Duo based architecture (Core to be specific) look up Conroe-L, nice CPU's and overclock like champs just like their big brothers

Yes...it will just be a little easier to reach the 3GHz mark, because of it's higher stock speed.

ya u can't overclock an imaginary processor.... or can u, i just bought and overclocked "my" qx6850 with LN to 5.00ghz lets see if i can push it more.... make that 5.6ghz
