New PC, Opinions Please?

Havnt been that active here in a while, But I need a little help choosing compnents for my new pc.
Looking to spend around £850.
So far ive come up with:

Lite-on DVD writer £17 - dabs.com - LiteOn DVD+-R/RW/RAM 20x IDE Black - Drive plus Nero (DH-20A3P-12C)

Enermax Liberty 620W PSU £95 - dabs.com - Enermax Technology 620W ELT620AWT Liberty PSU (ELT620AWT)

AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ AM2 3.0GHz £109 - dabs.com - AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ AM2 3.0GHz (ADX6000CZBOX)

EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 320MB £185 - dabs.com - EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 320MB GDDR3 PCIE DUAL DVI (320-P2-N811)

Thermaltake Shark Case £84 - dabs.com - Thermaltake VA7000BWA Shark Case - Black with Window No PSU (VA7000BWA)

Asustek AM2 nForce 590SLI ATX Audio Dual VGA Lan £140 - dabs.com - Asustek AM2 nForce 590SLI ATX Audio Dual VGA Lan (CROSSHAIR)

OCZ Technology 2x1GB 240DIMM PC2-8500 Reaper £106 - dabs.com - OCZ Technology 2x1GB 240DIMM PC2-8500 Reaper (OCZ2RPR10662GK)

Hard Drive - Not sure yeat, but If I allow £100 for this the total including postage would come to around £850/

I put this together in around 10 mins. I havnt been up to date on the latest things recently, so any opinions would be appreciated :)
 
Not really set on AMD, just have always used amd, and Im very familiar with overclocking them etc. :)
Hard drive ill have to decide myself when I look at how much storage space I need.
 
Its not just games I use it for really, its a bit of everything :)
At the moment im thinking the same as above but with the following mobo and CPU instead:

Asustek Socket 775 Intel 975X ATX Audio Lan
Mfr#:p5W64 WS PRO £147.80

Intel Quad Core Q6600 2.4GHz S775
Mfr#:BX80562Q6600 £173.38

Intel Quad Core Q6600 2.4GHz S775

The intel setup would probably perform better in most things including gaming, especially when overclocked, looking at the 6000+ you'll be lucky to get an extra 300Mhz out of it. If you're looking for the best performance for your money, definitely go intel

ya... apokalipse, one of the Tech Forum Moderators got 3.5ghz.... and he had to water cool it.....
