raptor HD setup

i'm thinking of purchasing a 74 gig WD Raptor and just putting my games on it, would my games run faster than they would on my 7200 RPM HD? i still want to load windows up on my Maxtor, but just put all of my games on a Raptor, would that work alright? sorry if i'm a little unclear on my thoughts, i'm in the middle of writing a 2,000 word essay over Fahrenheit 9/11.....and it's 3:15 am here......i will only live to be 34 with my sleeping habits.

Lol I understand.. I have crappy sleeping habits also, I wouldn't be suprised if I died at 30 heh =/.. yea anyways, that setup would work.. The only difference you'll notice is that the games might load a little faster. I'm not sure because your system isn't super fast. IMO, I'd just get a larger 7200rpm drive to put your games on.. ata133 would work fine with your setup.

not worth the cost to get those hd's. Just get a 7200 rpm SATA hd.
