hard drive problem - not detecting

so i just bought a samsung 250gig hd and plug it all in, but it's not showing up in windows. i checked bios and its there but not in windows :freak:

got the ga-p35c-ds3r board with 500gig hd already in if that helps.

partition it ..
start>right-click on my computer>manage>disk manegament

create partition in there .. hopes this help ..

make sure you format it first and set it to ntfs if you haven't. check with the bios first to see if it recognizes or not.
