My DVD drive can't read 1 disc (all other are fine)

Hi there seems to be a problem with my drive as i just realized so i posted here. so i have this nero burner disc which works with the laptop but won't be able to read in my dvd-rw drive which is a bit odd. the disc is not scratched nor anything and it didn't work since the first day i bought my dvd drive so any ideas why it's not working or won't work for my dvd drive? btw the disc is a cd-rom.

When you made the Nero burn disc did you allow it to finalize?

no... it came when i bought the dvd-rw drive and it's premade and it's original.
