Weird Asus P5K problem

Ok everytime I use either of my front usb ports, it instantly disconnects my internet connection. I have to reboot to get it back. Do I need to update something?

The additional front usb ports seen added on many systems can often be a problem when using something like your regular IE connection. This is one complaint that has been heard for some time now. I suspect the main reason is that they are only good for temp use and not continuous.

Any other problem would be with the drivers/software for your ISP. Try other things on the front to see how those work for long periods. If you have too much running on the usb bus that could also be a problem since there is only a very low current level used there.
