how do I find hidden files and folders?

my documents and settings "properties" says its got 1.6 GBs inside it... But when I open the folder and check properties for the individual folders they only have like 50mb total !

how do I delete all this stuff ?

Just go to tools > folder options, then click the view tab and scroll donw until you see show hidden folders and files.

They're usually hidden for a reason, possibly because you usually need them .

To view hidden files/folders: Control Panel > Folder Options > View tab > under Hidden Files andFolders, clickthe button next to "Show hidden files and folders."

Or do what master353 said, while you're in the window.

just make sure you don't delete everything, look and check before you delete.
