According to the manual of my motherboard, if I have a bay sound output and mic output I should connect those to the AUDIO 8 pin on the mobo (8 pin, with one missing).
From the case, one of them is named AC'97 and the other HD Audio.
But now that I am using a dedicated sound card, should I connect the AC'97 or HD Audio into the FPanel connector in the sound card (it fits perfectly, 8 pin with one missing at the right place), and which should it be, AC'97 or HD Audio.
I read that the HD audio is Intel High Definition audio, does the Xfi support that?
Thanks in advance.
