even if its not going to be $266... i won't be disappointed at all... every1 else might be, but i have no build planned.... so idk if the price drops, frankly idc, i'm only keeping track to recommend for builds....

i will be disappointed if the e6750 comes out to be $250

I have seen many places have the e6750 for around $205-$225. If you are okay with that price you will be fine. However, I have noticed another thread that someone has an e6550 OC'd to 3.8 on 1.35vcore with a HSF of an AF7 Pro which is incredible. The e6550 is $20+ cheaper and still able to reach very comparable speeds.

Now the e6850 was able to reach 4.0 on 1.55vcore which is very nice however that is getting to be a bit high for vcore. I image that the e6750 will get right about the middle of the road 3.6-3.8 with a lower vcore. More folks are testing but seems to me that the e6550 is the best bang for the buck for the new G0 stepping CPUs.

Not saying the e6750 is any worse just saying for someone looking for a **** nice OC on a budget the e6550 is the way to go.
