Monitor Problems

Well, while I was running 3dmark06, at the CPU Test 2, my monitor went crazy on me! There's squiggly lines running across the screen, well its all over the screen. Does this mean the life for my monitor is coming to an end?

Hello,

So it happens when you boot into Windows? If so, assuming you have Windows XP, before the Windows XP splash screen appears (booting your PC) hit F8 and choose to select Enable vga mode.

My guess is that the frequency is out of the display's range.

Well F8 is my boot screen, how am I suppose to enable VGA mode?

People don't get caught for downloading. There's even legal questionability as to whether downloading is even illegal. The illegal part is uploading and distributing to others.

People do get caught for illegally downloading copyrighted files, as it is illegal (certainly in the UK and US anyway).

I did the F8 thing you told me, and there is no options for Enable VGA Mode. Theres only, Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, Safe Mode with Command Prompt, Last Known good configurations, and Start Windows Normally.

Alright, so I took out my video card, installed it back in, and connected all the wires back to their original spots. Now the monitor is still the same as the picture I have posted on the top.
