No Sound?

For some odd reason my computer gives no sound at all. I uninstalled my sound driver for both sound card and onboard and then reinstall them one at a time to see which one will work alone and non of them will work anymore. When i open the audio settings it will say no audio device or no active mixer devices available. I just installed SP2 and thats when the sound stopped, i just uninstalled that also and its still not giving any sound.

Does anyone know the reason why for this?

Haha, same happened to me. You're going to have to reformat your computer and run Windows SP2 again. Insert your mobo's CD and run it's installation. It should work cause that's what I did.

Yeah I have all the updates, such as SP2 and thats when it stopped working but ill just reformat it.
