I swear with an HP its like you fix one thing something else goes wrong. Here's the problem i'm having now; the past few times i turn on my computer as soon as it boots up an error message pops up and says "KERN 32 needs to close blah, blah, blah"anyone know what "KERN 32" is? Also, when i get this message, it pops up like 4 or 5 times in about 2 minutes. What should i do?

Can you still use your computer, or does it crash after this message pops up? If you can't live with it, maybe its time to reformat. Thats the way it goes with an HP.

No it doesnt crash, i just get the message about 5 times, its annoying but not annoying enough to reformat my HDD. Do you know what "KERN 32" is?

Windows 98 would be better if you install it, at least there are no problems

No, install Windows 2000. It is the OS XP is based on and is the most stable OS Microsoft has put out to date.
