I'm going to be putting together a new computer very soon, these are the parts that I have chosen:

Athlon X2 6000+
EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS 640mb
Ultra 1024MB PC4200 DDR2 533MHz Memory (x2)
Western Digital 500GB 16MB/72000RPM
LG SuperMulti GSA-H54N DVD Writer
Ultra Grid ATX Mid-Tower Case with Clear Side & 700watt PSU

I'm wondering if I would be able to install a video card on this motherboard. ECS AMD690GM-M2 (v1.0A) AMD Socket AM2 MicroATX Motherboard Audio Video DVI PCI Express Gigabit LAN USB 2.0 Serial ATA RAID in Canada at TigerDirect.ca It say that it has integrated video and I'm not sure if you can turn this off in the BIOS. Also are there any other better motherboards that I should be looking at that are in a similar price range? (10-50 dollars more) Thanks.

A thousand, all this comes in at just under 1000 and with tax that puts me somewhere around 1100. Whats a c2d build? Core 2 duo?

A computer build with a Core 2 Duo CPU. Slap some 2 X 1GB Corair with the EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 320MB all inside an Antec 900 powered by some higher quality PSU.

I see, I will look into that, but what about the motherboard? Will I still be able to install the video card or is it forced to use the integrated video?

$1k?

Heres a list:
Case - Antec 900
Motherboard - Gigabyte P35-DS3R
CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo e6750 (on July 22)
RAM - 2 x 1GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800
Graphics - EVGA 8800GTS 320MB
Power Supply - XClio GREATPOWER 550w
Hard Drive - Samsung Spinpoint 500GB 16MB Cache
Optical Drive - Sony NEC Optiarc DVD burner
Optional Aftermarket HSF - Tuniq 120

This will be like $1100 w/o shipping...so what you could do, is drop the Tuniq and get the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro. Drop the Samsung hard drive, and get the ever popular Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB. If you want, drop the Antec 900, and get the Cooler Master Centurion 5, to save more money.

aww man....Why are you in Canada?...lol jk...but it will probably be more expensive over there, if you were to get the parts I suggested.
