no, they cost much more. And they're nowhere near as "much better" as people make them out to be.

6000+ is about equal to E6600

meh, true u cornered me, but i reread the article, its was unstable at .92, they went to 3.8, but nothing a good ole' DS3r can't fix

okay, different chipset. Still, I don't think the stability of the chip is going to change with the motherboard if it is already able to reach 3.8+

E6550 is going to cost $163

E6750 is going to cost $183

E6550 and E6600 are very close in performance. E6550 is only 66MHz slower than E6600, but it has faster FSB.
