recently i installed a new power supply, video card, and added a stick of memory to my computer.

while playing WoW yesterday it shut down and would not turn back on, so i opened the case to find that the main power from the PSU to the mobo was halfway unplugged, i plugged the wire back in and turned the computer back on but now it keeps shutting itself off before even reaching my desktop.

i think i may have short circuited something but i have no idea what i need to do to fix/repair this problem.
any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello,

Try unplugging the power cable to your PSU for 2-3 minutes, then plug it back up and try again.

Try removing all unecessary hardware devices from your PC, including optical drives, sound card and extra RAM modules, leaving just your hard drive, one RAM module and graphics card connected (if you are using one).

Also try using another PSU.
