Need mobo upgrade recommendations

Im wondering if i have to reinstall windows? or re install anything?

Ive never installed a mobo before...hopefully its not too complicated.

And once i get it should i flash the bios? and what bios would you guys suggest.

Ill put up a new thread for assistance in basic oc once i get it. I DO NOT want to oc tooo much and risk blowing anything up.

yes since its a diff chipset-based mobo, u should reinstall windows but BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP, or use Norton Ghost to revert to ur old sys config

man that really sucks because i just did a re format like 3-4 days ago. O well i havent re instlled everything again.
But when should i reformat.
Right after putting the new motherboard in right?
I mean i've never done mother board replacement before so yeh...

I didnt tweak my xp this time so i dont need NG. Ill just backup some new files that i downloaded. Thanks to my 160gb ex hd itll be easy. It saves me sooo much time.
Before i use to burn dvd backups.
