Temp questions for my Video Card

Hey guys,

is it normal for my gpu the 7600GT to run idle at 51degrees and when loading 61degrees according to atitool. Is the load temp too hot? I'm wondering cuz i'm not sure if that would be the cause of my computer slightly artifcating. it's either that or i guess my gpu is messed up.

Yours runs cooler than mine, mine runs at 51C idle (with a fan blowing on it with the side of my case off, 61C without) and gets close to 70C on load.

You can try to increase fan speed with Rivatuner to 100% while playing games, it's defaulted at 65% and after I raised it my temps went down 4 C.

gpu's can run alot hotter than cpu's thsoe temps should be fine.some gpu's can handle up to 80c easy

yeah gpu temps are around 70 to 80 load dependin on ur card and what series
