come July 23rd the Viewsonic will be like 50 bucks cheaper then the Dell

Are you looking for only a 22"? I'm gonna get the 20" Samsung from Costco for 199.99. They have a $30 coupon.

Newegg sells the same thing for about $249 and they have a $50 rebate to make it $199.99. I'd rather get it from costco and not deal with the rebate.

But yeah, I was thinking about the 22" viewsonic, looks like a good deal. But I'd rather have a Samsung... but that's just me.

The viewsonic is going to be like 230 or something like that on July 23rd at costco with all the rebates, why not just wait and get 2 inches more for just 30 bucks? A monitor is a much longer term hardware investment unlike the computer

I would, but my original budget for a monitor was $150-$180, I think you responded to my thread... haha. Now I'm up to $199.99... I don't want to push it... that can go on forever, if you know what I mean... haha

mow some lawns, get the extra 30 bucks required ( or even donate some blood or hair ). Remember that a monitor isnt a graphic card, its much more long term. Best to dish out the extra dough for a good one u can use for at least 5years.

HAHA, I see your point. I have the money but I think the Samsung is great for my needs. 22" is kinda big for me, I think... even my 17" widescreen notebook is huge. I couldn't even imagine a 22", I don't need anything that big. To be honest, I think the 20" is even too big for me; I'd be satisfied with a 19" widescreen with DVI. Anything above 20" is just luxury... LOL.

if was thining about gettin a 20" but than i thought since the 22" has same res wont affect my comps perf.
