The 8500GT is a terrible card for gaming. If you still need something cheaper than post again.

Your also gonna need a more powerful power supply. This should do:

Um what CPU do you have? if it's a dell then you may not have a powerful enough CPu for the most powerful card. Video cards have GDDR memory not DDR. The memory on video cards has absolutley nothing to do with compatibility of your RAM...

All I can say is, make sure your power supply has enough Wattage to feed the video card, and has enough AMPs to keep it alive.

Could you give the specifications for your computer or at least give the kind of Dell you have?
