I have a Trinitron 19" CRT (5 years old) and one year old Radeon 9800 pro.
When I turn on my system I get a bit of a light show with flashing colors during post and once up to main screen. Until things warm up I get sudden pops and the color changes slightly. Also until system warms up colors are washed out.
If I turn on the computer and not the monitor till later I still get the same show.
I think its the monitor, any help?
I would love to get a Dell 24" or Samsung 244t but don't know if my system would drive it. Which one would you suggest.
As soon as Penryn and X38 comes out I will be replacing this 5 year old Dell Dimension 8200. I hope in time for Crysis.
Any comments would be deeply appreciated.
