go with the gtx if you have the money, if you can wait a year get an 7900gs or an 8600gts then upgrade to a 9 series later on

I'm depressed now, I was going to order the GTX along with another gig of RAM, along with a new mousepad and 2GB flashstick tomorrow. Now, my mom loses her checking card which I deposited 500 bucks into earlier today and I probably won't be able to order till maybe the end of this week. So that might be another week in delay since she had to cancel the card so that no one would try to steal from it.

thats what i'm doing, except if i don't get a job next year, i'll just pick up the 9 series immediately
