P5B Delux + Zalman Cooler and E6300, or E6700 ?

I have £150. Now im not sure which i will receive the most benefit from.

I could sell my E6300, save up a bit, and buy a E6700 for £200

Or by an Asus P5B Delux and a Good Zalman Cooler and overclock my E6300. Bit i cant decide what, because it 'may' be possible to overclock the E6300 higher than the E6700 (?) but the E6700 has double the cache.

Any opinions ?

Heres my system:

2x 1GB Sticks of 667 Mhz PC5300 Ram
Non Overclock enabled £35 Gigabyte Mobo (lol...)
X1950Pro
200GG WD Caviar HardDrive (Sata)


Any help appreciated, or new ideas welcome (new Graphics Card etc etc)

Buy a DS3R which is cheaper and overclock the E6300 to 3.5ghz+

I have my E6300, DS3R, Arctic freezer pro 7 at 520 FSB (3640mhz)

The cache does not help that much and an E63300 @ 3.5ghz+ is faster than half of the E6600 overclocks out there (around 3.4ghz)

I always herd P5B was 'FTW' and the best. But i'll tkae your advice, id have to get the lowest model though... its the only one that supports 667 Ram

anything supporting 800 can support 667?
