Best gaming widescreen LCD monitor

I am looking in getting a wide screen monitor to play games on.

What manufacturer should i look for? What screen size? I have a budget of £250.

well what size are you looking for? samsung's are a universal favorite.

this is a pretty good one.

a little over priced compared to what it is here in the US but you can maybe find it for a better price elsewhere. you might also be able to squeeze a 24" monitor into that budget if you can find a good price.

size does not matter just aslong as it fits my budget but i'd prefer a larger size

i have a 19" WS LG L194WT 5ms and i love it good response rate color and images crisp and sharp no dead pixels nice design
cant go wrong got it for $230AUD

go for a samsung. they are great for lcd's prob best picture around. or close to it

I wouldn't get a 24"....too high of a res and performance takes a hit.

If you want a bigger widescreen monitor the sweet spot is around 20 or 22" inch don't past those size if you don't want to take a hit in performance when playing games, but that just imo.
