GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3R and Memory

I believe this is the suggested mobo being suggested on this forum (its where it got it from).

This mobo seems to have a strict Memory chart of suggested memory to use in it. That being said, G.Skill isn't on that list. Has anyone here using this mobo had any trouble using ram not on the suggested list and/or what type of ram did you use?

Yep, Im using 4GB of it! This combo both rocks and rolls.

Whoops, just realised it says 3.4 in my sig...i will change that. Its actually at 3.3Ghz, 366 X 9, 1.31volts - stock cooling.

Its at 25C idle now (i leave speedstep on) and gets up to 40C in games, 50C max running orthos.

Baron (you brothers right?) already asked me, and thought i was lying. I sent him a stern message saying i wasnt (i feel kinda bad ) but im sure the temps from speedfan are right.

can u send me a cpu-z pic? i want to get mine to 3.3. but if i got above 3.25 it just doest load up i dont know how i can make it higher

Well he does have the P35-DS3R, which gets high overclocks using low voltage. wow...stock cooling? Very nice!

well u did see sora with an amazing overclock, not really that surprised here.......great now i wnat one of those, a e6750 or a q6600, and Kobe i think ur 680i is a bit of a bottleneck
