The 8600GT and GTS have PureVideo2 though which are not gaming features either. The 8600GTS isn't exactly a full video card or just a standard card...it's a cross really.

kobe.. as of right now im getting the P35-DS3R but i was wondering if it worth it to spend the extra $30 and get the P35C-DS3R.

as he said, i do game a little but nothing that serious, but i don't want to elinimate the option to game a little more if i felt like it. i understand that i wouldnt be able to run at max settings, but i would still like something decent and i think 8600gts should do it for me, unless you think otherwise..

thanks again.

The 8600GTS especially if you overclock it will hold you over but still give you PureVideo2 and whatnot.

You do not want to pay the extra 30 bucks for the P35C version because DDR3 right now is just pointless...just get the standard.
