a couple raptors would be nice and if you want higher quality HDD but more expensive cheetahs are an option though i believe they use a different interface
and you will get better cooling off a personal custom watercooling system, and if you are going to SLI ultras then you should buy GPU waterblocks, go to petrastechshop.com i believe

wow! thanks guys for the replies! well, first of all YES i mean 500Gb not 500Mb
lolx :p

As about the cash now, here's the disadvantage of the thing:
I have only 1 chance to spend 'em...and I must spend 'em within
about 1 month. So I can wait until july 22 (I am not sure if the
Q8650 will be able to my country by then but anyway) but I can't
keep some money for later upgrading...
And if that sounds weird, here's the explanation. I will receive an subsidy
from the European Union due to some small-business-updating-program
and I guess they will not have programs for updating PCs each year! So I must buy
the best I can now, an if it's necessary I will make upgrades later but
with no high budget since all the money will be from my pocket!

That's why I don't care if i pay double money for 2 VGA cards for 30-40%
higher performance... I know that in computer world everything is changing
every year or every 6 months but the chance is 1 and I should get the
best available. After a year maybe we will be here again and talking about
an upgrading! who knows!

anyway, I see you all agree with b1gapl's setup...(is he pro or something?:p)
just kidding of course! I checked if all of the parts on the list are available
in my coutry and they are so it's really an complete setup I can buy!

2 questions now:
1. After the cash explanation, should I buy 2 VGA cards for SLI?
2. If i want watercooling, why it should be handmade? Market watercoolings
are not good?

Thanks alot guys for your help!

lol....I'm not a pro. Just a guy who likes to reply.

Ah I see your explanation...You should of mentioned that before.

Well if you are planning on gaming on extreme resolutions like 2560 x 1600, and have all that money to spend...I guess it's ok for you to go SLI, since you only have this one chance. It will still last you for a very long time, even though new stuff will come out, several months from now.

Like Invisible said, it would be better to get a custom watercooling kit, then a pre-built, because you can choose higher quality parts. Invisible mentioned petrastechshop.com, and they have great pre-made watercooling kits, because they have high quality parts. Heres the link:

ok, here's the setup so far!!!

Case: Thermaltake Armor
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4 (P35, s775, DDR2) *
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo Q6600 *
RAM: ?
VGA: 2x EVGA 8800GTX (SLI)
Power Supply: Corsair 620HX
Hard Drive 1 (OS): W/D150 GB Raptor-X (10000rpm, 16MB, SATA)
Hard Drive 2 (Data): W/D 500GB (7200rpm, 16MB Cache, SATA 2)
DVD-R: NEC AD7170S SATA (Bulk) Black
Cooling: ZALMAN 9700 *
Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum Champion
Monitor: Samsung 226BW 22"

ok there are still some questions i got about parts (the ones with the *)
Motherboard: The shop I'm checking the items doesn't have the one b1gapl said ( Gigabyte P35-DS3R ) they only have the
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4. Is that ok? or this one is crap?
CPU: what about Core 2 X-Treme QX6700 (s775, 2,66GHz, 2x4MB L2, 1066 FSB)??? or QX6800? extremely expensive I should say!
but as you have already understand...who cares?
RAM: why not RAM with highest FSB? like 1142 or 1333? I saw RAMs with that FSB from the manufactorers b1gapl told me! however
which manufactorer should I choose? b1gapl said 3 and I don't know which one is better... =\
Cooling: I will put this cooler because the shop doesn't sell parts of water cooling...so we start with that one and later I will buy
water cooling parts.

these few things left to mention and we're done! I'm glad for having such help I should say!

I think the differences from the DS4 and DS3R, is that the DS4 has more than one PCIe slot for graphics. Hence why it supports, Crossfire. Oh....that reminds me, you can't SLI on P35 chipset motherboards. If you want to SLI, go with the MSI P6N Platinum motherboard. Sorry about that.

The extreme version just has a unlocked multiplier. This isn't necessary, and won't help much in overclocking the whole system. Just the CPU. The Q6600 will do just fine, and can overclock good with a good CPU cooler.

It's not necessary for faster RAM, because the ones I suggested are capable of near those speeds. As for the manufacturers, I would suggest between G. Skill and Crucial. Whichever one you pick is a great choice. It won't matter...but my new fav is the Crucial Ballistix. I'm tired of recommending G. Skill, even though it is a great brand.

If you want a really good air cooler, than I'd suggest either the Tuniq or Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme, that I mentioned earlier. Most will say, go with the Tuniq. They do a better job at cooling, than the Zalman CNPS9700.

yea about the cooler, I forgot to mention that the brands you told me are not
available to the shop...that's why I added the zalman.

As about the mobo now...since the shop doesn't have the exact mobo you told
me, should I get the Gigabyte DS4 or the MSI P6N? If the Gigabyte is better,
I will choose this one and I will get rid of the second VGA card. I prefer better
mobo than better graphics.

and the last one, RAMs. If there is no problem with the high FSBs, why not
get some of these? I know it's not necessary, but if we consider the whole PC,
noone of these is REALLY necessary!!! So, if there is no problem with 1142
or 1333FSB, we will get some of them! You are the man so you know what's
best =D

The Zalman is an excellent cooler it just is never recommended becuase it's price is a little high.

The DS4 is a better board overall than the P6N really and SLi just is never worth it unless your SLi'ing like 8800GTX's or Ultras.

What do you mean about getting high ram...just look for good DDR2-800 such as G.skill HZ model or Hk which can hit DDR2-1200 if they want..

1: Case fine
