Need New CPU fan and heatsink

i am looking for a new fan and heatsink for my pc right now i have a standard intel 775 one which is very very loud and runs at up to 60c
can you please suggest any that you have tried and have worked well

What processor specifically, are you using? Anyway for the socket 775, I would recommend the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, as it is the best bang for your buck cooler, for not much money. If you want one of the best, the Tuniq 120 will definitely cool things down.

gonna check these out dont know how hard it will be to get as i live in australia they will probably be expensive like most other computer parts

The zalman 9700 is a very good cooler which is more widely available in OZ. Unfortunately the two which everyone recommends, Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro and th Tuniq Tower, arent that easy to find here... but you can get them from a few sites.
