Well we can said that Q6600 is more "future proof" but aren't Penryn CPU suppose to introduce "native Quad-core" or something??

Well he said in his original post he wanted it for 1-2 years, in which time we will start to see quad core support.

He also said he wants it for the 22nd, which discounts pernyn as it will not be on the market for at least 3 months.

This is not including the fact that pernyn quad cores may be quite expensive when they get to the market. Now none of us know this, so im just saying the might be fairly pricey.

For buying a PC in the next month, the Q6600 is the more future proof option.

exactly and the current Quad-Cores still are way more futureproof than our Dual Core at the moment even if they aren't native.
