Hello, everyone. Recently, I acquired a program which requires me to type in Simplified and/or Traditional Chinese Languages. Now, I've downloaded "imechs.exe" from Microsoft's website and it says "This setup requires Office XP".

Here's a screenshot.

Some of my program doesn't accept the text. Like, if I type text or copy text in notepad and then try to paste it back into the program, it'll read it as weird symbol. Please help. I need all or at least some version of Chinese Simplified and/or Traditional that can type in Pinying. Also, it cannot read most Chinese text. Any help would be nice. A tutorial would also be appreciated.

Thanks :)

Well probably you have the code page disabled for chinese which you can change it by going into control panel then regional and language options then click the advanced tab and check the appropriate language you want for code page conversion tables. then restart your computer and you should be able to read chinese on your computer.
