Complete reset

Is there a way to reset whole computer to return it factory settings?
Will I loose some programs?
I am mostly worried about bellsouth dsl thing

A system restore unless on a recently purchased system would only bring you back to the beginning of the calendar month if the restore points are there to use. With the recovery disk for Windows and any other software disks included you then use that to see factory defaults and lose anything you installed since that time. The dsl would have to reinstalled as part of recovery or reinstalling Windows.
