SUPERB... well, good Monitors for < $270

I am comparing monitors for my new build and I don't know which ones would be good. The ones I have in mind are:

SAMSUNG 204BW Black 20" 6ms DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor with Height Adjustments 300 cd/m2 700:1 - This one has GREAT reviews from users and other web-reviewers.

SAMSUNG 216BW Black - Silver 21.6" 5ms DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 3000:1(1000:1) - This one has better specs, but not so good reviews.

What does DC 3000:1 ratio mean? It's obviously a 1000:1 contrast ratio. But what the heck is DC...? I doubt they are talking about direct current.. or are they?

And YES, I want to play FPS games on it. I'll probably get an ATi x1950xt if that helps any in picking a particular monitor.

Don't take Newegg reviews seriously. There are a lot idiot reviews in newegg. All the Samsung monitors are great and top notch.

DC means, it's Dynamic Contrast Ratio. It helps in displaying darker images and scenes, by lowering the power of the LCD's backlight.

I'd go for that 216BW.

yeah, I was leaning towards the 216bw too... I wonder if anyone has a 204bw AND a 216bw to compare side by side and tell us which one is better. haha
