Upgrade Decision: CPU, Mobo, Graphics. Quick help please!

Thanks for the suggestions. I did see that newegg had some good 2gb kits on sale like you mentioned.

As far as the board, I was hoping to get something a little cheaper (I've read lots of people praising the gigabyte p35 on tech-forums though). I only need SATA II and one PCIE express slot, I won't be getting SLI.

What about an XFX nForce 650i mobo - 99? Also, a guy on craigslist here is selling a Intel BLKD975XBX2KR that I might get for around $100. And I just saw this ABIT IB9 LGA 775 Intel P965 Express for $68 after rebate.

the gigabyte p35 is ur best bet, no point gettin 650i coz ur not sli'ing.

the abit's are ok i havent heard much bout them.

ABIT makes EXCELLENT amd motherboards. not too sure about their intel line.
