Somthing wrong with either new Powersupply or RAM

ok, originally i had this old powersupply and i bought i new one because the old one didnt have enough power to run my fans on the side of my case.

SO i bought this new one and put it in and it worked fine...for a while.

just recently my computer has been shutting down right before the windows log in screen. so i took out the power supply and checked if anything was lose, which nothing didnt seem it was, so i tryed it again, and again the same thing happened.

So i decided to take out 1 stick of my ram. 512mb DDR kingston hyper x(yeah i know its small) and it works fine now. i can get in and do eveything, only problem is that when i try to play my online games... its stupidly horrible to play because of lag.

Anyone have any solutions for this brainbuster? (not really)
getting a new powersupply is easy, its just if i have to get new RAM will be the hard thing.

Do a memory test download Windowmemory diagnostic Microsoft Online Crash Analysis Read instuctions on the page,, I let the test go from a minimum of 2 hours & most of the time i let it go for 4 or 4 hours +

512 sticks are cheap now. can pick them up for $ 25 -35 bux its cheaper to buy online

Sounds like it was the ram, then. Download Memtest just to be certain but it seems pretty straightforward to me. Kingston has a lifetime warranty on their sticks so you can get an RMA and they'll replace it for you.
