I searched but there were no threads found.

I have a 9800xt, and I wanted to get the most out of this card before I get myself a new system.

Do I use some software? any technique? or just play with the settings of the software that came with its drivers?

anyone has experience with this card? thanks :)

You might need an aftermarket cooler though. They are really hot cards, mine used to reach 75C without overclocking. I actually burned through 2 of them...

So I came across an ATI tool guide, and I followed it. It didn't overclock by much. But I have to have ATI TOOL utility running in the background for it to overclock it, right?

Yes...you have to leave it running in the background, in order to keep the graphic card at overclocked speeds.

I have a 9800pro and it get SUPER hot when I oc it. Stock cooling just doesn't cut it, there isn't enough surface area to be effective.

Already have a side intake fan ! =) oh so thatttsss what it's for???? it makes a lot more sense now !!
