i've said it before, now i'l say it again...
right now, xms2 c4 is 131.00 with a 40.00 MIR. which makes them 91.00
gskill HZ are 129.00 with no rebate. making them 129.00 lol.
i have both sets of ram. each performs as well as the other. the difference is this:
high frequency, loose timings (c2d build) : gskill.
high frequency, tight timings (amd) : corsair.
the xms2c4 actually will hold tighter timings than the gskill at the same frequency.
at or below stock, they can both run insanely tight timings.
they both will run 3-3-3-9 at or below 800mhz.
when the corsair was astronomical (like when i bought it sheesh), then the gskill was a better buy, as it was way cheaper. now that they are so close to the same price, the argument cannot be made that the xms2c4 isn't worth what it costs. it is.
