Need advice on new Video Card. Help*

whats the point of having a dx 10 card if it struggles to play dx 10 games with ultra low settings....... the x1950xt creams that and the 7900gs (no i'm not a fanboy....) .... ask sora... hes upgrading from a 7900gs to an x1950xt

I gotta agree with Vernong1992 whats the point of having a dx-10 card if it cant play the games. If he really wants dx-10 he should save up for a while longer so he can get an 8800gts or he can just get the ATI 1950 XT and oc it to XTX settings. I mean even some people that have an 8800 less the gtx plan on upgrading when DX-10 goes mainstream because not even that card will pawn dx-10 games. by that point and time.

I'd recommend the 8600gts or save an extra 50 and get an 8800gts, its 259 minus the rebate, and is big improvement over a $160 card

8600GTS isn't worth it, someone said another post that its the DX10 equivilent of a 7300.
