Fried 6800gt?? Fix??

Hi, i was in the middle of installing Linux on my pc when the screen suddenly went black.

I rebooted my PC, and it wouldnt even show the BIOS information or anything. I bought a new card (7300gt), and my PC worked again.

Ive concluded that my 6800gt was broken, but I want it back T_T. Does anyone know how to 'revive' my card?. Thanks for ur time!

ummm how long have you had it there should be a warranty depending on how you got it and i dunno but(just a really out there guess) try the freezer trick and then if it works add more cooling to it but thats just a way guess i dunno if that only works on hdd
