Need advice on new Video Card. Help*

nvidia this one Newegg.com - BFG Tech BFGR79256GSOCE GeForce 7900GS 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card - Retail good brand good price.

But the 1950 XT solution they give you up there can pawn anything so i would recommend that over the 7900GS idea both cards will let run just about anything at above decent settings.

I was told that AMD With ATI Card *Radeon* Was a bad choice that AMD Goes with Nvidia and Intel goes With ATI.

if u have the money then go with ati, it will kill the 7900gs. and i wouldnt consider 8600gts as an option as they compare to 7600 but with dx10, its not worth it. if i were u i would get the ati as suggested in the first page. or get the 8800gts 320 mb.

No that amd and ati and intel and nvidia thing is crap. My bro has a pentium 4 and a 7600 running fine its just a myth someone told u.

whats the point of having a dx 10 card if it struggles to play dx 10 games with ultra low settings....... the x1950xt creams that and the 7900gs (no i'm not a fanboy....) .... ask sora... hes upgrading from a 7900gs to an x1950xt

that makes no sense................ lol who told u that... but i wouldn't believe it.... i ran AMD with ATI and it worked fine (that was when this P4 was down and i had an Athlon XP 1800+ good times good times..... )

and also how strange, AMD owns ATI now, and they've been making chipsets together, developing marketing stratigies that interact with each other, would be quite sad if that statement was true.
