btw i was asking for quad-core.. but if i throw in an 8800gtx also with an arctic freezer pro 7, maybe a 250 or 320 gb seagate drive

wow the tuniq is really cheap.... but i'll have issues assembling that.....

if your going Quad-Core then yes a Tuniq is what your going to want

wow... um... how would one install that...... i'm used to smaller heatsinks like the AF7...... usually i put the cpu, ram, gpu, heatsink on first.... but if i get the tuniq tower... would that mess things up???

EDIT: Your going to need better than an arctic freezer Pro 7 to handle the heat of a quad-core...those things run HOT at stock let alone when trying to overclock.

So is it safe to say if he went with the E6850 and wanted to heavily OC it he could do it with the arctic freezer pro 7?

As long as it runs very similar in heat to the other C2D which I don't why it woudn't being only Dual-Core....The Arctic Freezer Pro 7 is good enough to handle a Vcore up to around 1.5 and keep it under the recommended (new Recommended by Intel) 65 degrees.

how would installation of a tuniq tower be different then a regular sized cooler....
