i have this spare laptop hard drive.... i wanna use it as really high storage external drive (sort of a pocket media drive)....

its easy I have got a maxtor one touch external and have swapped the hdd from 200gb to 500gb seagate its jst a case of setting the jumper correctly on the hdd and and there is an IDE connection on the inside
