How does one build an external HD? I heard its a DIY project from Chris (yes Chris Chadwick) but if its possible i would like to know....

I don't think he means to literally build the hard drive itself. I believe places like ebay sell external hard drive cases where they have the USB ports and everything. You just need to go and buy a hard drive to attach into it.
