should i wait to get a Q6600 after price drop? and would this be any better for gaming than a E6600, just wondering

it's about the same, unless you do CAD or photoshop. i'm gonna wait til the price drop to get it.

alright, well, another question has popped into my head... Would it be worth it to buy a Radeon HD 2900XT over a nvidia card of the same price? The specs look pretty **** amazing

Radeon HD 2900XT performs faster than 8800GTS, but slower than 8800GTX. It consume more power than both and produce a lot of noise

Don't be fooled by the spec, ATI has more stream processors, but 8800 series have more Texture mapping units and Render Output Pipelines
