Best motherboard?

This is probably the best motherboard out right now, though you can't run SLI.

^Not really worth looking into DDR3 yet. That motherboard is just really expensive. There will be better ones later on.

it runs DDR3 though which is EXTREMELY expensive. So the regular DDR2 supporting is better.

Well I don't plan to run SLI. I'm only getting one 8800GTX (possibly Ultra) so I think I'd utilize FULL x16 well in my situation, er at least I should.

No crap DDR3 is expensive and of course there will be better motherboards in the future. He asked for the best, I posted it.

Wow I really am considering buying one of those DS3R's over trying to get another P5N-E. They are reporting very high overclocks....

I'm thinking about it too for my build this summer. I just can't decide which p35 is the best bang for the buck. I like this one though.

The more expensive DS3R supports DDR3 and DDR2. I would go for the cheaper one.

Why? It's only about $20 more and you can use DDR2 RAM now, and have a mobo that supports DDR3 RAM for when it gets cheaper later. Sounds like the better investment to me.

Because by the time DDR3 actually comes into full force.....the board will be outdated trust me lol. DDR3 won't be selling as good as DDr2 is right now for at LEAST another year I'm sure.
